Heavenly

On our way up to the lake this past weekend
as we were driving at 60 mph
I spotted a treasure trove of wisteria
and a great find for one of my 100 prompts.

hubby apparently noticed it as well
because as I gasped "Oh my!"
and before I could utter my obvious upcoming request
he did a quick u-e
to let me go at it.

He's mine, ya'll, and I think I'll keep him!

Here are a few of my favorite shots
all of which are straight out of the camera
no editing needed

can you smell the heavenly fragrance?
it was intoxicating!

  3. Wisteria is the smell of May for me - in my Childhood it was the smell of the last schoolday in May - beginning of summer Holidays :)
Your pictures are lovely - and also the challenge of 100 prompts!

  4. Yup, he's a keeper, Jill.
I have one of those too, and not a day goes by that I am not grateful for that.
    These are just beautiful.
I have a wisteria tree that is over 20 years old, and it's never bloomed, but it sure has the most amazing gnarled trunk.
