JUMP!

it was a dull day at the "lo-gull" hangout
not much was happening

then Pete tipped off his buddies

Bernard
from the other side of the lake
 was apparently flying in for one of his periodic lessons

then the heads started perking up
where...where?

up there!
he's coming in for a landing!

hi guys!

are you ready for today's lesson?
we're going to learn how to jump!

okay, now
everybody watching?
you bend your legs and put your wings up like this

hold on a sec...
 as Mildred peered over the rocks
i'm not so sure about this...what if i jump and land in the water?

::

Bernard disregards her squawking
and tells everyone
JUMP!

OMG...i've got it!
screams Bill

::

okay, now
on the count of three...

Mildred obviously wasn't ready to take the jump

  1. What a splendid series of images.. gulls are such interesting birds... I always like how they appear to be sizing you up while waiting for a french fry (or whatever you've got)... love the clarity of your shots and the storyline really added to their enjoyment! Thank you for sharing on Weekly Top Shot #69!
